Do I need a separate takeoff tool?
No. Takeoff is built into CMDBLD and connected to estimating, so measured quantities become estimate line items without exporting or re-keying.
How accurate is the measurement?
You calibrate the drawing scale once per sheet set, and measurements are taken against that scale. You can review and adjust any quantity before the estimate is finalized.
Can my client see the takeoff?
Yes. Line items can carry a cropped callout image from the plans, so the client sees exactly what each item refers to.
